HAPPY 2nd Birthday, Oliver Richard Burke

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY, OLIVER

It's hard to believe but Oliver just celebrated his 2nd birthday on January 23rd 2008. How time flies.

On January 20th 2008, we threw a party for him, inviting friends and family. These are some photos of Oliver on the day

Photos of the party are coming up soon.......stay tuned.

January 2007

Well 2006 came and went quickly. It's hard to believe Oliver is about to celebrate his first birthday on January 23rd.

He is crawling at lightening speed and pulling himself up on furninture. It's only a matter of time before he'll be on his feet walking around.

Last month, Oliver celebrated his first Christmas with his family, including Nonnie and Poppo.

Here are some photos taken of Oliver and the family leading up to Christmas and the new year of 2007.

More photos to come after the birthday party

May 2006

Yeah I know it's been ages since I updated this blog, and many people have been reminding me of this. As Oliver is now 4 months old, I thought I better put a few updated photos etc up.

These photos consist of the Christening in April and some photos taken within the last month. Jodie even experimented with black and white, so scroll and enjoy............

March 20th 2006

Well due to popular demand, and people telling me to get my act together and update this blog, I've done just that and put some new photos of Oliver.

Oliver recently had his 6 week check. He weighed in at 10 lb 9 oz. It is amazing how quickly he is developing and growing.
Anyway, there's more photos here........ enjoy.

BTW: We just celebrated our 12th Wedding Anniversary

Here we are , celebrating our 12th Wedding Anniversary yesterday (19th March)

Last week, Oliver had a setback with his jaundice, when it appeared his biliruben levels had increased.

He was re-admitted to hopsital and spent the night under lights in a bid to reduce these levels.

Now one week later and Oliver has overcome the jaundice, his biliruben levels are down, his colour is good and he is growing stronger and more aware by the day.

Here are some recent new photos. Just click on the images to enlarge

Oliver has left the building......

Oliver left hospital to start his life at home with his family, after spending a couple of days in special care due to jaundice.

As one of the newer Australians, Oliver was happy to celebrate Australia Day and his 3rd day of life asleep in his crib for part of the day.

After passing all the hospital tests will flying colours, Oliver is almost ready to go home tomorrow.

Here are some new shots:

January 23st 2006

At 2:10pm on January 23rd 2006 (Western Australian time) , Jodie gave birth to Oliver Richard at Joondalup Hospital.

He weighed in at 6lb 15oz and measured 49cm long.

Both mother and baby are well.

As he was mostly asleep and wrapped up in a mass of blankets after his birth, there aren't any really clear photos available yet, but more updates will be available tomorrow.
